CoolSculpting, Lasers, and Peels: what is NIMA all about?

Posted by Nima | March 5, 2021

What is NIMA? Who is NIMA? What are all these technical terms? What is NIMA really all about? These are all great questions that we want to answer for you. NIMA is an Institute of aesthetics that caters to many different people in many different ways. Our mission is to “We create career opportunities for our clients by drawing from our retail industry success to deliver customized hands-on education & business strategy solutions.” Of course, this is just our mission statement, but we want to do much more than that. That’s why although we are educators, we also have a Spa at NIMA. Our spa has a lot to offer each and every one that walks to through the door.  Our NIMA client services team is chalk full of nothing but the best. We want our clients to be well informed about our services so that they are able to choose the right treatments for them. So, let’s learn a little about NIMA, shall we?

Popular Services

We have quite a few popular services that you may be interested in. One of them is our CoolSculpting service. CoolSculpting is a treatment that removes fat cells from certain areas of the body that you can’t get rid of. This treatment is for stubborn fat. That fat that just won’t go away even after all the hard work you’ve put into diet and exercise. You can find this annoying fat in the abdomen, back, arms, and even your knees. CoolSculpting is one of the few FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) approved fat removal service. That stamp of approval is critical to remember because a lot of fat removal treatments don’t have this approval.

So, how does CoolSculpting work? After your free consultation here at NIMA, you will be set up with several sessions. We will also determine how long those sessions will be. During each session, you will have our CoolSculpting machine placed on the area(s) we deem you needed. Your job is to just sit back and relax. The sensation of the CoolSculpting treatment in the process may be uncomfortable at first, but most of our clients say they end up getting used to it. Most clients will read, do some work, or even take a nap during their session. After your session, you can get back to your regular schedule. Head back to your job or go on home to do whatever else you had planned for the day. That’s right, no down time necessary!

This seems too good to be true, right? Well, here is how CoolSculpting technically works. The CoolSculpting machine we place on the area that we both determine needs the treatment uses extreme cooling and while it is pulling to freeze fat cells and the fat cells alone. Once the fat cells are frozen, your body naturally flushes them away. Once those fat cells have been diminished, they won’t and can’t ever come back. If you end up gaining some weight it won’t be able to settle in the area that was treated by CoolSculpting. During your session(s) you may feel pinching, numbness, deep pulling, tugging, or discomfort. But, like we said before, our clients have said they get used to the feeling of the treatment. Yes, you are able to leave and do whatever after your session but, you may feel temporary numbness, bruising, tingling, stinging, firmness, redness, pain, or swelling. Most of these side effects don’t last long but there are some rare side effects that could happen.

CoolSculpting is just one of our more popular services, and we hope that we’ve explained why. We want you to feel and look your very best. If you’ve got that annoying fat you just can’t seem to get rid of, perhaps you should give CoolSculpting a try. Give us a call to set up your free consultation.

Lasers and Peels, oh my!

CoolSculpting is not the only thing we do here at NIMA. Like we said, we offer a lot of different services. From Laser Hair Removal to Full body services. Your new spa day at NIMA will give you many things to choose from. Here are a few more popular services you may want to give a go:

Laser Hair Removal: Don’t worry, it sounds far scarier than it actually is. Laser hair removal is a great alternative to shaving or waxing. You can get this treatment done on several areas of the body. Like the chin, legs, underarms, bikini area, your back, etc. Anywhere that you grow hair, you can get laser hair removal there. Yes, it is safe! Laser hair removal is a non-invasive treatment. Because it is a non-invasive treatment it has a low risk of giving you a negative reaction. When performed by highly trained specialists (like us here at NIMA) the really bad side effects from laser hair removal are uncommon. Every time you get laser hair removal your hair follicles will begin to become damaged or will die completely. This means less hair or more thin hair. No shaving? That sounds good to us!

Peels: NIMA chemical peels range from mild to aggressive. Chemical peels are one of the best anti-aging treatments and benefit your skin in numerous ways. Peels are another one of our more popular treatments. We know that you’ve done your very best to take care of your skin (besides the summer you spent lathering your body and face in baby oil). We get that life happens and sometimes you need a little help getting back to a former self. That is why we offer many different chemical peels to get your face rejuvenated and glowing. If you have a peel in mind, great! If not, give us a call and we’ll help you choose the best one for you.

Laser Skin Rejuvenation: Another way to get your skin looking top-tier and almost pre-baby oil days, is Laser Skin Rejuvenation. Yes, another laser treatment! However, instead of zapping hairs, this treatment helps zap acne scars, fine lines, large pores, those pesky sunspots, you name it. Laser Skin Rejuvenation will be able to help you get back to glowing, youthful skin.

What is NIMA all about?

Here at NIMA we want you to be well educated about what treatment you’re getting. We also want you to feel better walking out of our spa than you did walking in. It’s all about the confidence our treatments may give you if you give them a chance. What are you waiting for?
