Financial Aid | NIMA

Nevada aesthetics programs are not currently accredited for Federal financial aid options. We anticipate offering FFA in early 2020.

Option 1: Federal Loans & Pell Grants (Master Esthetics Program Only)
To find out how much you are eligible for and to start the application process, visit Use our School Code: 042103 Our company name is: Medspa Academies, Inc., DBA NIMA Steps to completing this process:

STEP 1: Apply for an FSA ID

If you do not already have an FSA ID, go to and follow the instructions. The FSA ID is the username and password you use on federal student aid websites. Your FSA ID is used to sign legally binding documents electronically. It has the same legal status as a written signature. Don't give your FSA ID to anyone or allow anyone to create an FSA ID for you - not even your parent, your child, or someone helping you fill out the FAFSA® form. Sharing your FSA ID is like teaching someone to forge your signature, and it could put you at risk of identity theft. If you are a dependent student, both you and one of your parents will need an FSA ID to complete your FAFSA. If you have already completed a FAFSA for another school, using your FSA ID, please go to and click on “Make Corrections to a Processed FAFSA.” Add the Federal school code 042103. Make sure that you tell our Financial Aid Department that you have completed the FAFSA elsewhere and that you have made the correction to add our new Federal school code.

STEP 2: Fill out the FAFSA Application

Please go to and fill out BOTH available FAFSA applications.

STEP 3: Loan Entrance Counseling

When you are borrowing from the Federal Direct Loan Program, you are required to participate in loan counseling before receiving a Federal Direct Loan. This is to ensure that you understand your rights, your responsibilities, and the obligation you are assuming when borrowing. Go to Click Here and complete the Undergraduate Students Entrance Counseling. Print a copy of your confirmation at the end.

STEP 4: Completing the MPN

If you are a first-time borrower of the Federal Direct Stafford Loan, you are required to complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN) before loan funds can be disbursed. You can complete and sign your Federal Direct Stafford Loan MPN at Click Here using your FSA ID and selecting the Undergraduate Students Complete Loan Agreement for a Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loan (MPN).

STEP 5: Enrollment Appointment

Take with you to your enrollment appointment the following items: Your High School Diploma or GED or Certified Transcripts Your Driver’s License or Passport Proof of completing the Loan Entrancing Counseling and Master Promissory Note Social Security Card After you are officially enrolled, you will then be contacted by the Financial Aid Administrator to finish any final steps to getting your financial aid award letters.
